This is a coloring page of Ludwig van Beethoven - famous German composer and musician. He was born in 1770. His his father was also musician and his son to play piano from very young age. I think Ludwig had a hard childhood because his father was very strict, but by the age of 12, Beethoven was already earning money as a musician. He moved to Austria, when he was 21 years and studied under another great composer Joseph Haydn. He became famous for his emotional symphonies and sonatas.
Beethoven kept composing music even after he started losing his hearing. Already when he couldn't hear he wrote nine symphonies, which are considered some of the best pieces of classical music. I think this is very exciting example for kids - never give up even when things get tough. Besides Beethoven's music can inspire anyone for new ideas and great achievements.
